The winning streak matched the longest streak in the Majors this season with the Houston Astros (May 25- June 5) and it was the first time the club had won 11 straight games since July 28-Aug. 8, 2006. Despite the loss, Los Angeles still holds the best record in the Major Leagues with a 66-30 (.688) mark, 2.5 games head of the Houston Astros. Following the four-game weekend set against Atlanta, the Boys in Blue will continue the homestand with a three-game Interleague matchup with the Minnesota Twins and a three-game series against NL West rivals, the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers have won 31 of 36 since June 7, which is the best 36-game stretch since the 2013 club went 31-5 from July 7-Aug. 17. The only other team in franchise history to best that stretch, was the 1899 Brooklyn Superbas, who won 32 of 36 games from May 10-June 22. With the win tonight, he would become just the 11 th pitcher in the big leagues to start the season 12-0 since 1913 and the first since Stephen Strasburg last season (13-0). LET’S START A NEW STREAK: The Dodgers opened their

season-long tying 10-game homestand last night against the Braves

and had their season-high 11-game winning streak snapped

following a 6-3 defeat. The winning streak matched the longest

streak in the Majors this season with the Houston Astros (May 25-

June 5) and it was the first time the club had won 11 straight games

since July 28-Aug. 8, 2006. Despite the loss, Los Angeles still holds

the best record in the Major Leagues with a 66-30 (.688) mark, 2.5

games head of the Houston Astros. Following the four-game

weekend set against Atlanta, the Boys in Blue will continue the
