Let books rock your world during the Summer Reading Program!

The theme for this year’s Summer Reading Program is Libraries Rock! The calendar is jam-packed with amazing activities, including a variety of special programs, storytimes, weekly contests, and more.

Reading lets you use your imagination and learn new things, but Summer Reading comes with extra special stuff! We offer two children’s programs: Read to Me for babies and toddlers and Ready Readers for children and tweens! The library offers incentives throughout the programs to promote reading during the summer. Reading game sheets will be available at registration starting June 4. We look forward to seeing you at the library all summer long!

Our Summer Readers have the option of helping us reach our goal of donating a gift of a nutrition to a family. This

basket includes fruit and vegetable seeds to start a small farm, chickens to raise and help maintain it, and training in sustainable farming and nutrition. Instead of redeeming your reading hours for a raffle ticket, you can choose to help support a family in need, and receive an unique bead in addition to the special feeling in your heart for helping others.
