    10 min. Quick Write

    Make four teams of three members. One member of

    each team writes the English Alphabet on the black

    board vertically. Each team decides on a team memberwho writes quickly and no misspelling. Give a sign so that

    students start writing words one per letter. Give them

    one minute and then count the correct words and

    announce winners. The third member of the team makes

    a group out of the word lists.

    2 10 min. Balloon sentencesStudents look at a picture with word balloons. Using the

    words they try to make as many sentences as they can.

    Finally they write down sentences about themselves.

    3 10 min.Song Students try to make words out of letters in a picture.

    Then they listen to a song and make sentences out of

    mingle word sentences.

    4 2 min.Punctuation Students fill in gaps in sentences about punctuation

    symbols. Then they check if their punctuation in the

    previous exercise is right.

    5 8 min. Writing sentencesStudents write sentences about themselves paying

    attention if their punctuation is correct they write the

    sentences in their notebooks but are assigned to post

    them on a sticker on Lino for homework.

    HomeworkPost stickers on Lino with at least five sentences about you. Do not sign so that on the next lesson we

    can read the sentences and quess who they are from
