Deborah She is a prophet~ The only Female Judge mentioned in the

book of Judges Leading Israel She is very WISE and settles arguments She gave a message of God to Barak She fully trusted in God She was wise enough to see when the best time to fight

was. Judges 4:14 ”Then Deborah said to Barak, “Go! This is the

day the LORD has given Sisera into your hands. Has not the LORD gone ahead of you?”

Ancient Weapons From Around Deborah’s Time

Jael Tricked and killed Sisera, the commander of

the Canaanite army Sisera was much bigger and stronger than

her, but she was WISE enough to make a plan that worked

She became a hero for her act of courage Jael is the mysterious woman Deborah is

talking about in Judges 4:9 “…the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman.”

Esther Was courageous enough to risk her life in order to

save her people, the Jews Esther 4:11 All the king’s officials and the people of the

royal provinces know that for any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the king has but one law: that they be put to death unless the king extends the gold scepter to them and spares their lives. But thirty days have passed since I was called to go to the king.

She didn’t let her fear stop her Was very WISE in her plan to stop Haman from

destroying the Jews

Courage is being afraid and taking action anyway to do what is right.

God’s way is always the right way.
