CONFIRMATION CLASS

Why Pray?

1. Because by prayer we honor God (Prayer is worship).

2. Because God wants us to and we want to.

CHRISTIAN PRAYER

I Corinthians 10:31So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Psalm 50:15Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.

Philippians 4:6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Why Pray?

3. Because God promises his blessings to those who pray.

1. We pray as children.2. God’s honor,

5. We end confidently with “Amen” which means, “It shall be so.”
