What's the temperature? What's the weather forecast?

How's the weather? What's the weather like?

In English, we usually use it is when we talk about the weather.

It is + adjective = A description of the weather

It is sunny today.It's hot and humid today.It's a nice day today.

We can also say:

It is a + adjective + day (or morning/afternoon/night)It's a fine day.It's a windy afternoon.

It is + verb-ing = This type of weather is happening now.It's snowing.Take an umbrella, it's raining.

This is Weather TV! Well, it looks like another rainy day. The rainy weather is going to stay a few more days. But, cheer up everyone! On Friday, we will see the clouds go away. The sun will come out. It’s going to be a very hot weekend. Saturday will be a good day for the beach. Sunday will be cooler due to strong winds. But you can take out your kites and have some fun.
