Last Time We Met….Alexander the Great conquered a great empire that included Greece, Persia, Mesopotamia and Egypt.

Hellenistic Culture was mostly influenced by the Greeks but also included pieces of Persian, Syrian

and Egyptian cultures.

Alexander is credited with spreading Greek culture to a large area beyond the Greek peninsula.

long row look curved in the middle.

• To correct this optical illusion, columns were made to bulge in the middle which made

columns look perfectly straight!
