Art & Craft Classes
Leopold Drawing Group
Are you interested in drawing? Join this group to share ideas with some instruction and assistance available. BYO projects. Beginners welcome.
Wednesdays 10.00 - 12.00 noon

Gateway Crafters This long running group are now located at
LC&LC. New members are always welcome.
Wednesdays 12.30 - 3.00 pm
Cost $3 per week
Beginners Pottery Create your own fabulous sculpture or a pot for
the garden in clay! You will learn various tech-
niques for making your own unique piece of pot-
tery including how to make pinch
pots, coil pots and slab pots.

Bookings Essential
Cost $25
Patchwork Group A group of passionate patchworkers meet to share
ideas, tips and tricks. Join this group and get in-
spired to finish those craft projects you have had
lying around for ages.
First and Third Thursday of the month 11am- 3pm

Rediscover the skills your granny had and try out one of our
workshops
Sauces and Relishes
Learn how to make your own sauces and relishes and fill
your pantry for the winter.
Bread making and Ricotta Cheese
Learn how to make your own Beer Bread, it is easy, and try
your hand at making Ricotta Cheese.
Embroidery
Bring along tea towel to practice some basic
stiches on and learn how to create your own fabulous piece.
Learn Shodo The Art of Japanese Calligraphy
Japanese calligraphy was influenced by, and influenced, Zen thought. For any particular piece of paper, the calligra-pher has but one chance to create with the brush.
Taking Expressions of Interest in Bookmaking and Basketry Classes. Cost $30. Explore the pleasures of creating a hand-bound book. Utiliz-ing a binding that has withstood the test of time with its ele-gance, flexibility, and strength. We need a minimum of 6 to start. You will create a bag using various techniques.

Leopold History Group Are you interested in exploring the history of Leo-
pold? Come along to this meeting to discuss the re-
cording of the history of Leopold.

We will help you develop the know how to do
this in a relaxed atmosphere. Cost $5 Taking

Community Kitchen
We are keen to establish a Community Kitchen—if
you live alone you get to share a meal and take home
Some meals for later in the week. If you are interest-
ed in participating let us know. Cost $3
Technology Technology Tearoom Every Thursday 10am—1pm
Trouble shoot those one off problems you are having
with your phone, tablet, online form or computer, it only
costs $3! You receive one on one assistance.
Beginner Computer Classes
Beginner computer classes will be available Tuesday
evenings at 7pm if there is enough interest. We need a
minimum of 6 people to run the class. Cost $15 per
week x 4 weeks. Taking expressions of interest for
Term 1.
Health, Fitness & Wellbeing
Taking expressions of interest for the following workshops:
Growing and Preparing Herbs for Health and Wellbe-
ing Workshop Series
Workshop 1: Raising Herbs from Seed and Make your
own Herbal Tea and Teabags. You will get to plant 6
types of herbs to get you started and learn how to look
after them. In addition you will get to make your own herb-
al tea mixes and have a tasting session to work out what
suits your palate.
Workshop 2. Propagating Herbs from Cuttings and
Make your own Shrub and Herb pesto. You will get
started with 4 herb cuttings and learn how to look after
them. You will also learn how to make Strawberry and
Mint Shrub—a non alcoholic health drink and a delicious
Herb Pesto.
Workshop 3 Herbal Tonics and Beneficial Aromathera-
py
You will make your own health tonics to help make you
feel better— Herbal Bitters— said to reduce sugar crav-
ings, Herbal Spritz to freshen the room or yourself, and a
tonic to help boost your immunity. Bookings Essential

Meditation Classes Magic Minds— For Children aged 6—11 Practice mindfulness and meditation through games and activities Monday 4.30—5.30pm Cost $15 Teens Matter –Meditation for Teenagers Monday 5.45—6.30pm Cost $10 Adults—take some time out for yourself and relax! Monday evening 7.30pm—8.30 Cost $10 per week
