What are you doing this Winter We are looking for articles on members projects to help make our website more interesting. The reports don’t need to be overly complicated, just what you projects you are working on, problems that you are having, questions that the oracle {Gordon may be able to answer?) and some photos. Maybe someone has a part or tool that may assist? More members that use the facility the more it will work for us. Len Ferneyhough (Librarian) is working on 1960 Excelsior Talisman Twin British Anzani 250cc two stroke engine - colour cherry red also available in green, bronze and black. It was an older restoration that required new wiring, cables and the fuel system had to be replaced. Almost finished, appears to have been a local Ludlow bike in Shropshire. Parts are very hard to come by. White wire needs to be connected to????

What are you doing this Winter

We are looking for articles on members projects to help make our website more interesting. The reports don’t need

to be overly complicated, just what you projects you are working on, problems that you are having, questions that

the oracle {Gordon may be able to answer?) and some photos.

Maybe someone has a part or tool that may assist? More members that use the facility the more it will work for us.

Len Ferneyhough (Librarian) is working on

1960 Excelsior Talisman Twin British Anzani 250cc two stroke engine - colour cherry red also available in green, bronze and black. It was

an older restoration that required new wiring, cables and the fuel system had to be replaced. Almost finished, appears to have been a local

Ludlow bike in Shropshire. Parts are very hard to come by.

White wire needs to be connected to????

Chris Langdon (Secretary)

Triumph Tiger 100ss engine overhaul. Some will have seen this bike at our Annual Shows. The engine ran but I decided it was time for

an overhaul. I do intend to sell it next year and I want it spot on! Engine now is almost totally stripped down i.e. the crank is in my hands!

The alloy parts will be sent off or collected by Vapour Blasting Services = excellent service. They did the work on my 1966 TR6 which is

waiting to be assembled (will I ever get the time?). Meanwhile I will draw up a list of parts for the Tiger 100 and see what prices of parts

there are around.

To be continued!!!!!
