Lehigh University’s Unique Fellowship Program Celebrates 10th Anniversary
For the past 10 years, LU has offered its graduate students access to the College of Arts and Science Community Fellow Program. The program, unlike any other in the country, requires its fellows to spend a year working with a nonprofit or government agency while simultaneously taking a yearlong agency-related course.

Fellows in the program are placed in political, sociological, and environmental agencies, and the pay they receive for providing 15 hours of service weekly is applied directly to the student’s tuition. As the program celebrates its 10th year in existence, some current fellows are working with the city of Easton, as well as the local chapter of Buy Fresh Buy Local.
