DESCRIPTION

As the battle looms in the kingdom of Saxondale, see 20-year-old, lovingly preserved Lego castle kits back in action. Read and picture how the epic conflict is set-up with analysis of the opponents strengths and weaknesses. Best of all, remember that - because of Jesus on the cross - God can, will and does make peace between even the bitterest of enemies. If He can cry "Father forgive them" as nails tear through His hands, then so can we...

Up in the attic…• Is stored my old Lego, sets from 1990-6,

and my personal favorites – the warriors of King Saxondale

• Artfully re-arranged and captured with the benefits of digital technology, watch battle begin as the “Lions” are invaded by “Dragons” and “Eagles”

• Will their stronghold be overthrown, or can they resist the pillagers?

This eagle-eye view of the battle helps us appreciate how finely balanced this conflict will prove. The “Dragonhearts” have their own defensive positions, but more menacing, is the huge catapult, which can death on their mortal enemies. A full troop count shows that the defenders are also outnumbered, but their opponents are not as well-armed. If this war becomes a siege, Saxondale soldiers will rely on their well, which is well-shielded from enemy fire and means that this conflict could be protracted.

Battle-lines have been drawn and the time for analysis is ended. Only the strength of arms that wield these various weapons of arm, coupled with the brave tenacity that refuses to yield in combat, can decide the outcome of this pivotal conflict. If Saxondale falls, then a dark shadow will be cast over the kingdom. Dragonhearts are fierce, cruel and avaricious. They pillage everything possible from their conquered foes and feast on the bones of their enemies. Can our heroes survive?

Reconciliation• “God shows his love for us in that while we

were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

• Jesus the King does not run to His castle to escape His foes, but willingly is crucified at their hands

• His resurrection proves that love conquers hate and good triumphs over evil, then and always.
