Tall Tales

• Tall Tales are humorously exaggerated to make difficult situations seem funny.

• Story usually takes place in an American frontier setting.

• These stories are fictitious, but are based on the lives of real people.

Tall Tale Characters

• Characters encounter or are a part of impossible events.

• They are bigger, stronger and louder than real peoples.
