Legend №17 is an amazing biographical film starring Danila Kozlovsky, Oleg Menshikov and Svetlana Ivanovna. It was directed by Nikolay Lebedev and released in 2013. It

was one of the most successful films of the year.

Its brilliant plot shows the life of

the main character Valery Kharlamov.

He was an outstanding Soviet player famous for his leading role in

the Russian hockey.

As well as the usual hockey in

the USSR, part of the story is set in Montreal, one of the largest cities

of Canada.

But the film is not only about hockey. There is also a love story in addition to the main theme of

the film.

The acting is really breathtaking with an

excellent cast including Alexander Kharlamov,

the son of the legendary Russian hockey player and Vladimir Menchov,

the popular Russian actor.

The cast all give incredible

performances.

The film is not full of special effects and stunts because «Legend № 17»

is not an action film.

The costumes are really colourful and perfectly recreate the atmosphere of the

period.

No wonder «Legend №17 was such a box office success! A must-see!
