MARC SCHREUDERMarc Schreuder is Young Living’s Vice President of Research and Formulations. Under the direction of Gary Young, he works with product formulations and travels the world researching

novel bioactive substances and speaking at wellness seminars. Marc has been with Young Living for more than 15 years. Marc is a pioneer in essential oil research, having worked with researchers from all over the world identifying undiscovered, bioactive oils and their biological activities. As a result of his ongoing research, Marc is the co-holder of five U.S. patents. Marc has completed extensive undergraduate work at the University of Utah and Utah State University. He is currently completing his master’s degree in business management. When Marc is not studying or researching essential oils, he can typically be found spending time with Connie, his wife of eight years, enjoying the company of his two daughters, and helping spread Young Living’s message of wellness, purpose, and abundance.

In a favorite movie of mine an old sage raises his hand and asks a young apprentice “in which finger is the power to change the world?” The young novice hesitates, then chooses, causing the old man to shake his head in disagreement. Later the wise old mentor asks the young man which finger came first to mind; “my own” replies the young apprentice. “That was the correct answer” comes the reply.

We each have the ability to profoundly change the world around us. Through simply sharing good health, wellness and the financial opportunity afforded by Young Living, we can change the lives of others and, in turn, the world around us.

This past year has provided wonderful opportunities for me to get to know so many of you. Together we have been able to bring Young Living products to so many people who have been looking for natural wellness products here in Singapore. I want to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for sharing oils with your friends and neighbors, and helping them enjoy more wellness, purpose and abundance! 2012 has certainly been a tremendous year!

However, 2013 will be even better! We are very excited about the new compensation plan that has gone into effect as of the first of January. We are also looking forward to the launch of NingXia Red on the 26th of January. This will be one of the most important product launches in Young Living’s history as we introduce to the world the most powerful oil-infused, anti-oxidant drink ever made. I have been using the original formula of NingXia Red myself for years, and have always enjoyed the energy and vitality I feel from it. However, I started using the new formula a few weeks ago, and WOW! the difference is amazing! The new formula is far more powerful than ever before.

Over the coming year, we will continue to work diligently to introduce additional products and programs that will help you grow your Young Living business. These are truly exciting times, and I encourage all of you to get to know the essential oils on a personal level. Use them regularly, ask questions and learn about how they work, then share the oils with those around you. Take this opportunity and you can change the lives of others to make the world a better place.

To Our Young Living Distributors:

The launch of the changes in our compensation plan is here, and there is much excitement everywhere. People are anxious to start building within this new structure because of its sim-plicity to teach and build with the anticipation of growing faster to enjoy the many innovative payouts.

However, as with any change, there are always questions about the transition between the previous plan and the new one—here are the answers!

S I X - M O N T H T R A N S I T I O N P H A S E IFor six months from January 1, 2013, to June 30, 2013, your rank according to our current plan will be used to calculate your compensation. As you build in the new plan and achieve a higher rank than you currently have in the old plan, your com-mission will naturally be calculated based on your new achieve-ment. For this six-month period, both plans will run side by side, and you will be paid according to the new plan, but with the highest rank achieved in either plan.

For example, if you are a Gold or an Executive and you do not have the needed third leg for Gold or second leg for Executive, you will be qualified as a Gold or Executive respectively for six months, giving you time to build the leg that you need so that when July 1, 2013, arrives, you will have built the leg that you need in order to maintain your rank.

If your check should go down a little, it is because of one or more of three things:

1. The natural variance of volume that happens every month.2. The structure of your organization is not the best to maxi-

mize the payout.3. Your commission has been built relying on the Team

Performance Bonus, which is being eliminated over the course of six months.

Please note that we will continue to have the same rich and abundant overall payout as we have had with the old plan. This new plan allows us to pay out these same significant dollars in a way that will help all of you build for more sustainable growth for the future and encourage new individuals to join Young Living.

This bonus rewarded people for building in a way that was not sustainable for us as a company and you as a distributor. For this reason, this bonus must be eliminated in order to ensure that we continue to be the financially stable company you have grown to expect from Young Living.

2012 with the highest revenue quarter

in our history. It was the most exhila-

rating and rewarding year of transfor-

mation. Never in the history of MLM

has a company changed its marketing

program and achieved a record year

for growth. You are all part of that.

You made it happen. We express our thanks and grati-

tude to all of you for diving into our

and St. Maries farms, let’s look back on what you had to say about Young Living
