Spring City’s newest addition to the Symphonic LED Line is redefining industry performance ratings and increasing ROI for its consumers. This progressive solution unites all of the traditional Symphonic system components into one unified structure. Aptly named the Symphonic X-Series LED System, the new line is a fusion of engineering and architectural brilliance. The system’s strong foundation from proven engineered innovations of the Coolcast Thermal Management System and Crossfire Optics; and it’s designed to fit and perform inside a traditional acorn globe. These advancements result in overwhelming superiority compared to similar systems on the market – providing increased lifetime, improved ROI, and the ability to achieve more than 130+ lumens per watt.

The Symphonic LED System utilizes the patented Crossfire Optical System. Crossfire combines the angle and position of the optics along with refraction technology to take advantage of the directional nature of the LEDs. The result are beams of light weaving together to create the appearance of a single light source, which maximizes light output and downward uniformity.

The Crossfire optical system is combined with Spring City’s patented Coolcast Thermal Management System to enhance light output performance, increase longevity, and drastically reduce maintenance costs. Coolcast controls heat through its horizontal and vertical ribbing which pulls heat away from the Crossfire optics directing outward to dissipate through the cast aluminum hood. This creates stable low temperatures to allow the other components of the fixture to work at their optimal level.

The Symphonic LED System orchestrates individual engineering achievements into a system that increases downward uniformity while achieving over 130+ lumens per watt and meets RP-8. The unique performance now allows customers the flexibility to evaluate wattage and pole placement which can lower upfront costs and improve the ROI.

Known today as the leader in designing and manufacturing technologically advanced LED street lighting, Spring City first opened its doors in 1843 as a small foundry.

In the beginning, Spring City handled a variety of projects, but the true talent came with their expertise in designing and manufacturing lamp posts. Manufacturing lamp posts with techniques pre-dating electric street lights, Spring City had installations in all major east coast cities by 1900. It was a natural progression to the modern-day era with electrical luminaries.

Fast forward to today — still in the original historic foundry — Spring City employs over 100 people encompassing the foundry, engineering, sales, and customer service departments.
