Leather drawstring purse pattern

To use this pattern:

1) Cut out the pattern below, and carefully draw around it on your cardboard.

2) Then, keeping the paper pattern on top, punch holes where the dots are marked –

the holes will go through the cardboard too, in the right place!

3) Draw around the cardboard template onto your leather, marking all of the dots through

the holes punched in your template.

4) You will need to draw and

cut out two of the shapes

to make your drawstring

purse!

5) Punch holes through your

leather shapes as marked

by the dots – it is very

important that the holes

match up on both pieces

of leather as these are

used to thread up your

drawstring purse.

diagram (right). Starting from the middle hole

(marked with an arrow on the pattern above).
