• 2016: in total 4 interns 2 in Kampong Thom and 2 in Kratie

• 2017: currently 3 interns in Kratie

• Background: agronomy, veterinarian, agro-industry

• Duration of the internship: 3-6 months

• Normally based in the provinces a lot of field work

• Take over tasks and work independently go to the target villages in

groups of 2 without GIZ staff

Cambodian master student

• research on organic agriculture in Cambodia and its effects on small

farmer income

• Came from Hungary to Cambodia for data collection: interviews with

organic shops and organic stakeholders, survey with organic farmers

and cooperatives

• ILF facilitated the linkage to interview partners and provided technical

advice

• Presented his results to community members in most of ILF target areas

• Future consultation, advice and information sharing
