closely supervised • Severe face bite, dog entering house • Died despite treatment

Critical points that needs consideration

• Puppy can be source of rabies• Traditional treatment is NOT solution to

treatment• Keeping dog in house minimize rabies BUT

does NOT mean it is free from rabies.• Minor bite is enough space to virus entrance

to body.• Healed wound does NOT mean virus is NOT

there.

Critical points that needs consideration………

• Vaccinated animals should NOT be considered as free from Rabies.

• If an animal died or disappeared within 10 days after bite one should suspect rabies.
