LEARNING ENGLISH WITH MUSIC AND IT'S LYRICS.

INTRODUCTION
English is a very useful language which has many
ways to teach and learn about it but at the same time
people has different techniques to understand and
use English. In spite of that the best way to learn
new things in other language is put all the things in
a real context.
OBJECTIVE
Help the students to create and discover new ways
to understand a second language (in this case the
English) through different techniques like the music
and it’s relation with the real life and context also
bringing and collaborating with lyrics.
JUSTIFICATION
In English since many years different methods
have been created to help and understand in a better
way the English, for that reason there are many
reasons to support those methods (GT, DM, ALM,
etc.) In this way the best aid to control the learning
is with things that the person enjoy like music and
obviously the lyrics as one tool to follow the song.
METHODOLOGY
I’m going to use the constructivism because this
pedagogic method can grant to us access to the
knowledge shared by the teacher and the student.
This method will be supported by: Mind maps, lyrics
shared by the community, forums and other tools
that will permit to increase the known things
helping each one to the other.
EVALUATION
To define if the student learned something with

RESOURCES
Music: Pop, Rock, Hip hop, reggae, etc. It depends
of student likes.
Lyrics: Depending of the favorite music find the
words told in the song.
Videos: preferably first times watch videos with
lyrics incorporated that will be one first step to
reach the final goal that is learn English out of the
common methods.

Yardstick: With English Pop Music specially the
student will be able to understand the lyrics without
see them in other pages or even in a video.
