When it comes to learning about Technology everyone brings a

different background to the class.

•Different acquired skills

•Learn at different rates

•Different access to equipment at home

So here are some things that you can do to help the class run more smoothly:

•Be patient if you already know something.

•Help a neighbor understand.

•Go the extra mile if you can.

Don’t be a know-it-all!•Nobody knows everything when it comes to Technology.

•Technology changes so fast that it’s impossible to keep up with it all.

•Everyone can learn new things, keep an open mind.

Your Key to Beaverton School District Electronic Resources

What is Bkey?

• Our identity management system

• It provides you with secure access to BSD computers and eAccess storage

• You will use this to login to BSD computers instead of “go” and “go”

Enrolling in Bkey

• Step 1: Open Safari on a Mac or Internet Explorer on a PC.

• Step 2: Type bkey in the address line and press return. If that doesn’t work try bkey.beaverton.k12.or.us

• Step 3: Select Enroll/Reset Bkey

• Step 4: Click Enroll into SSRPM

• Step 5: Enter your Student ID and Password that you’ve used in past years.

• Step 6: Click Continue

• Step 7: Select and answer the questions

Please note—Select questions 1-5 from the drop down menu. Question 6 is a question you get to create.

• Step 8: Click the Enroll button

• Step 9: If you’ve done everything correctly you’ll see a window like this:

Click “Home” and you are done!!!

I forgot my password…..• Step 1: Log in to a computer using

username: kioskpassword: go

• Step 2: Click on Enroll/Reset for Bkey

• Step 3: Click on Reset your password

• Step 4: Enter your Student ID

• Step 5: Click Continue

• Step 6: Answer the challenge questions. You will be asked to answer three of the questions that you created when you enrolled.

• Step 7: Enter your new password twice making sure you follow the password rules

• Step 8: Click Password Reset

• Step 9: If you’ve done everything correctly you’ll get a window that looks like this:

Click “Home” and you’re done.

You will need to wait a few minutes before you try to log in with your new password.
