To educate, empower and develop capable students by means of: 1. Islamic Education, 2. Technical Education, and, 3. Character Reform Programmes, with a view and goal of producing exemplary graduates who can function in a global environment whilst maintaining and promoting an Islamic ethos.
COURSE DETAILS
Duration:
The course runs for 2 years
Education: 1. Islamic Education 2. Computer Technology OR Furniture Making (Wood)*1. 3. Character Development Classes (Special character/akhlaaq programs) (Full syllabus under Annexure A)
Fees:
R3000 per month. This includes tuition, full boarding and lodging. Qualifying students may apply for bursaries by completing the necessary forms. However, own contribution of R500 per month will be mandatory on all students.

Other Details: Full boarding and lodging will be provided in Lenasia South at our Bilal Centre.
*1 Course choice will depend on the academic aptitude of the applicant, amongst other factors. The decision of the Selection Committee of the Dawa College will be final in this regard.

2. The admission of students is subject to
availability of space.
3. All applicants will be evaluated and interviewed
in terms of competence, academic aptitude,
character or any other aspect as the Dawa
College may deem appropriate.
4. The decision of the Dawa College regarding
acceptance or rejection of any applicant is final.
5. Any applicant who supplies fraudulent or false
information will be denied admission, and if
discovered after enrolment, may face
disciplinary action.
6. All applicants must furnish original documents
with stamps, where applicable, for all the items
listed under the ‘Requirements’ in the brochure.
7. Applicants who seek admission must register
well in advance. Late registration will only be
allowed under special circumstances.
8. ‘The first come first served’ principle may be
applied.
9. The ethos of the Dawa College is strongly
‘Islamic’ in character.
10. Siblings may not necessarily be given
preference.
11. The Dawa College reserves the right to require
any student to re-register at the end of the year.
12. The Dawa College reserves the right to refuse
admission to any learner it deems necessary.
13. Any applicant will only be considered for
admission once the registration fee has been
paid in full.
14. Payment of the registration fee is non-
refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.
1. A full month’s notice must be given in writing
before any student wishes to leave the Dawa
College and that full month’s fees must be paid
in lieu thereof, in addition to any other increases
imposed by the Dawa College.
2. The student as well as the person responsible
for paying the fees are jointly and severally
liable to the Dawa College for due and punctual
payment of the fees, or any other amount as
may become payable to the Dawa College in any
respect related to the Dawa College.
3. All students are subject to the policies, rules,
regulations, routine and any other practice as
outlined by the Dawa College. Parents,
guardians and/or guarantors of students
undertake to co-operate with the Dawa College
in enforcing these.
4. Should a pupil be expelled or suspended from
the Dawa College, the fees for that month will
be payable and if paid already, will not be
refunded.
5. In the event of the Dawa College having to
institute proceedings or pursue litigation for
fees or any other amount payable to the Dawa
College, the student, the person responsible for
paying the fees and the guarantor of the student
shall be liable for payment for all costs incurred
by the Dawa College, and, the above consent to
jurisdiction of the magistrates court.
6. Fees are payable in advance in terms decided by
the Dawa College.
ADMISSION POLICY
CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE
1. The College is open to applicants, irrespective or
race, ethnicity, or disability, pending suitability.
