Leaf and Brush Pick Up
May 12th & 16th The annual Village-wide brush pick up is scheduled for May 12th & 16th. Leaves must be contained in bio-degradable paper bags. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE!! LEAF BAGS CONTAINING DOG FECES WILL BE REFUSED!! Tree branches should be left in large pieces no bigger than 8 inches
In diameter. The longer lengths you leave the branches, the safer it is to feed them into the chipper. Please place brush and leaf bags by the side of the road to be picked up by the Duanesburg Highway Department on Monday the 12th and Friday the 16th.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
Sunday, May 18th, Time 2:00pm Quaker Street is hosting this year’s Memorial Day
Parade. Line up begins on Bull Street and
continues along Schoharie Turnpike to Schaffer
Park for a memorial ceremony.
Community groups and businesses including the Duanesburg Central
School band and All County Choir will be joining in on the celebration.
So hang your flag and show your pride! If you would like participate

Annual Village-Wide Garage Sale
SATURDAY, JUNE 7TH ~ 8AM – 3PM The 2014 Village wide Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, June 7th. Clean out your closets, your attics and garage, have a bake sale or sell kool-aid.
Delanson Fire Department will have a chicken BBQ.
And as always Delanson United Methodist Church will have a rummage sale with food and refreshments! Anyone wishing to participate should call 895-2257. Space throughout the village is available to rent. Residents can mail the $5.00 advertising fee to Gayle Gifford, PO Box 339, Delanson.
