$5 BILLION+ PER ANNUM OPPORTUNITY

9

COMMERCIAL CO2 AS AN INDUSTRIAL GASExamples:

EOR, Food and beverage, Canadian greenhouse market:Opportunity: EOR per annum >$1 billion, other >$2 billion

Total Opportunity >$3 billion

MITIGATION & SEQUESTRATION

IEA states CCS to contribute 13% of total CO2 reduction to meet COP21 objective -this translates into 3.4Gtpa to be captured

Assuming a licensing model with $1.80/t royalties, corresponding enzyme revenues

and a 10% market share, this translates into a >$1.3billion per annum

opportunity for CSI before site licence fees

CO2 UTILIZATION • According to the Global CO2 Initiative, by 2030, products created through CO2 utilization could generate

$800 billion to 1.2 trillion in annual revenues and reduce CO2 emissions by 15%

CAPTURE AND UTILIZATION OPPORTUNITIES

10

• PARIS AGREEMENT ON CLIMATE CHANGE

Keeping a global temperature rise this century well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels

IEA estimates that in order to meet COP21 goal, CCS needs to contribute 13% (120 Gt) of CO2 emissions reduction target from 2015-2050

• CO2 FOR COMMERCIAL REUSE

Capturing CO2 and reselling as input for industrial processes is a growing market

CO2 is supply restricted (= expensive) in many geographic regions

CSI: Addressing local inefficiencies in CO2 supply

BUSINESS MODEL

Phase I – Initial market penetration and commercialization (in progress)• Sign one influential customer per industry

sector to establish track record

• Design, Build, Operate, Maintain (DBOM) CO2capture plants

• Revenues generated through:• supply of CO2 gas to industrial consumers via

take-or-pay agreement• shared carbon credits and base amount

regardless of CO2 quantity purchased

11

Phase II – Licensing• Provide high level engineering design, technical and

customer support services• Technology license fees• Receive royalties – one-time and/or per CO2

volume captured• Revenues from ongoing enzyme supply

Supplemental revenues through selling enzyme• E.g. efficiency enhancer for algae growth

(biofuels production)First contract signed

First sale contracted
