Leading LivesLeading Lives is a new and dynamic service which could be the pathway to helping you reach your potential, attaining new achievements, increasing your confidence and feeling valued. Whether you would like to be part of a group who go to see a musical or you have always wanted a job opportunity but don’t know how to approach an interview or have never created a CV then Leading Lives may be able to help you reach those outcomes. Our person centred approach and good practice helps us to provide a service which is of the highest quality.

Our specially trained key workers will meet with you and develop an outcome based support plan, that helps identify what you want to achieve, set realistic timescales and help you select your staff team.

Who Are We?Threshold have been supporting adults with learning disabilities since 1995. We aim to put a smile on the face of the people we work with. Threshold is part of CrossReach which is the Social Care arm of the Church of Scotland. Threshold also provide:• Community Support: Supporting people to be integrated

into the local community.• Leading Lives: Structured group based support in a fun

and social setting.• Short Break Service: Supporting people to go on holidays

giving their parents/ main carers some respite.

Our service will operate with a support ratio of 1 staff member to each 3 individuals. This will ensure you feel appropriately supported in your activity and have guidance at hand whilst learning your new skill. Our groups are service user led; we conduct research and source appropriate locations and skilled team members to help us provide what you are looking for.
