I think the most important job of a captain or a leader is to motivate, create a great environment, and make sure that the team does well.

A captain or a leader should be willing to shoulder responsibility, when you win give the credit to the players, when you lose take up the responsibility.





One thing cricket teaches is team work. To be successful, the combination of batting, bowling and fielding has to come together.





We had an inspiring captain called Kapil Dev, who lead us from the front and was very positive, he gave us what Vineet calls empowerment to employees. He asked us to ‘believe in yourself, play from the heart’.





If you have self belief, even if you are failing, and believe that you will make it. You will make it!





Today’s leaders need to be innovative whether it is technology, business, movies, or whatever else. You need to have excitement and innovation.

Decisions made by leaders must have the weight of the entire team, it is important to have everybody’s consensus.
