John illustrates the power o the human spirit through his personal story. As a nine-year-oldboy, he was burned on 100% o his body and given less than one percent chance o surviv-ing the frst night. He endured months in the hospital, years in therapy, dozens o surgeries,and lost all o his fngers to amputation.

Despite the odds, he overcame those challenges to become a college graduate; businessowner; hospital chaplain; the Ambassador or Big Brothers, Big Sisters; the frst inductee intothe Energizer Keep Going Hall o Fame; an international speaker; and a husband and ather.

John has shared his message with over 350 organizations in 37 states and 4 countries.
