Mr AbouBakr Fathalla, Tempus Projects Manager, and Eng Karim Hamdy, Tempus Office Egypt, celebrated the opening of the Leadership Centres (LSC) in Egypt on 20th - 22nd May at Ain Shams University and Fayoum University. The LSC will be the central point for all Tempus leadership activities in higher education in Ain Shams and Fayoum universities. It will serve as the Equal Opportunity Centre for professional women in higher education. It will also be a place where academic training will be available for current and potential leaders. The LSC in Egypt will help considerably regarding communicating with the other 8 centres across the region and will form a strong, sustainable hub for future Tempus project objectives and achievements in the MENA region, and Europe.
