PREPARE Marriage Preparation Workshop

The topics to be covered are: Session 1 to 4 Prepare Marriage & MBTI Personality Inventories Personality evaluation and analysis Marriage expectations Premarital evaluation & analysis - strengths & growth areas

Communication Personal stress profile The five love languages Conflict Resolution Role and sexual relationships The five languages of apology Impact of family of origin Power in the family Spiritual issues Financial Planning Family vision Session 5 (optional) 6 months after marriage: Review of marriage, Dealing with unmet expectations, and the journey ahead. There are two inventories which every couple will do during the first session. The MBTI results will be provided during the session. The counsellor will be using the 25-page Prepare Marriage inventory report customised for each couple for discussion during the sessions. Each couple will receive a 10-page report in the second session.

Total Costs for 8 hours ( inclusive of $100 worth of Prepare Marriage Inventory and MBTI personality profiling) are as follows:

1) Group sessions(minimum of 2 couples)：

a) For weekdays, $300 b) c) For weekends, $360

2) Individual couple sessions:

a) For weekdays, $480 for four sessions of 2 hours each or 3 sessions of a total of 8 hours. b) For weekends, $600 for four sessions of 2 hours each or 3 sessions of a total of 8 hours.

Each couple who has attended all the sessions will be entitled to a rebate of $70 from MCYS. The premarital counselling will be held at either our Bedok or Bukit Timah Branch: Bedok Address: 485 Bedok South Ave 2 Singapore 469315

They learnt to listen to their partners and understand their perspectives. Couples who have attended the programmes are better equipped to build strong, resilient and healthy marriages.
