Why Deed Restrictions Are Important

● Short Term Rentals (STRs) are here and will increase (Type 1 owner occupied)

● STRs are permitted in all types of single family residences in Austin

● Deed restrictions in Lost Creek prohibit STRs?● Set up for a lawsuit● ADUs have not gone away

● According to the Fire Marshall– We have enough water flow for approximately

– Insufficient for a wildfire and house fires (no neighborhood in Austin has the capacity)
