Each project begins with an extensive planning assessment where we look closely at feasibility, cost efficiencies, and optimal certification paths.

This ensures that the project is launched with strong economic footing and dependable timeline expectations.

Planning

Once the project scope has been clearly defined, we begin the prototype design process modeled in a 3D CAD platform with powerful simulation and design validation capabilities.

Concurrently we run our procurement discovery process, to establish component and material selection based on suitability, price and availability.

When the concept is approved by the client, we initiate an engineering design review process.

Designs are substantiated using a balanced approach of traditional and higher order analyses. Data generated is documented by LCAS engineers to support certification, testing, manufacturing and maintenance.

Engineering Analysis

As an approved Canadian Aeronautical components manufacturer with an extensive palette of in-house capability, we don’t need to rely on third party availability to turn your concepts into reality.

PROTOTYPINGOur specialty is taking your idea and turning it into something you can touch and feel as quickly as possible. In the early stages of product development, it is important to see the physical manifestations of initial concepts so that the fine-tuning will incorporate solutions to the real world issues that can often only be identified in a tangible model. We get it done quickly so our customers can move on to the next phase of their project in the most time efficient manner.

PART REPAIR & OVERHAUL

As Transport Canada Civil Aviation Approved Organization, we can facilitate repairs to damaged parts that are more economicalto repair or overhaul then to replace. SUBCONTRACTING LCAS can support aircraft part manufacturers with peak production capacity deficiencies. Our facility and skilled team can provide an extremely flexible outsourced production solutions.

LCAS is a complete maintenance facility servicing both private and commercial piston, turbine, light jet, and rotary wing aircraft. Our highly qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers take pride in the safety and quality of their work.

We believe that our clients should play an active role in the care and safety of their aircraft. Our service is transparent, with all needed repairs reported and approved by our customers before work is begun.

Maintenance, Inspections & Repairs

LCAS can provide for certification to repairs and modifications completed on your aircraft.

We will help you determine the most appropriate certification path such as a PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) , RDA (Repair Design Approval) , sSTC, (Serialized Supplementary Type Certificate)or STC (Supplementary Type Certificate).

Reconditioning and Restoration

Using our extensive network, Lake Central Services can source almost any aircraft.

Once it has been located, our in-house commercial pilot can fly the aircraft to our facility for repairs and certification. When it’s ready, we’ll deliver it to wherever you are.
