Key  Responsibilities:  • Ensuring  construction  practices  are  done  as  per  the  standards/codes  (ACI,  EM,  ASTM)    • Resolving  Design  related  issues  by  re-­‐analyzing  the  design  structures  &  construction  issues  by  pre-­‐planning  of  

contingency  plan  which  may  include  revising  structural  drawings  as  per  Owner’s  Engineer  recommendations    • Implementing  civil  drawings  in  coordination  with  M&E  Team  to  ensure  the  designed  compliance    • Ensuring  contractual  obligations  are  met  by  construction  team  and  incase  of  additional  work  suggested  by  

Owner’s  engineer  then  informing  the  planning  team  for  Variation  Order    • Getting  approval  of  material  to  be  used  on  site  by  covering  the  technical  aspects  of  the  product    • In  case  of  additional  structure  requested  by  the  client  then  taking  care  of  Structural  Calculation  and  supervising  

CAD  operators  for  drawings/BOQ    • Design  of  supporting  structures  like  pavements,  drainage,  brackets,  retaining  wall,  bolts  to  assist  in  construction  

of  permanent  structures    • Search  of  alternate  material  choice  by  traveling  (Business  Trips)  or  through  internet  and  then  getting  approval  by  

comparison  of  technical  aspects  and  Time-­‐Cost  Schedules    • Issuance  of  design  calculation  along  with  construction  and  then  as-­‐built  drawings  to  Owner's  Engineers    • Official  Correspondence  with  Owner’s  Engineers  with  comments  reply  and  technical  answers  until  approval    • Review  and  approval  of  technical  reports  by  supplier  as  per  contract  and  testing  reports    • Monitoring  of  impounding  activities  from  1st  stage  till  the  last  stage  to  observe  any  abnormalities  in  the  process  

It  includes  both  site  monitoring  and  response  through  correspondence  with  Owner’s  Engineers    • Assisting  commissioning  process  by  setting  up  O&M  procedures  which  link  to  civil  part  and  submission  of  as-­‐built  

drawings  with  final  design  report  for  the  Client    • Site  inspections  of  all  Hydropower  Units  ensuring  reinforcement  work  at  site  complies  with  design  drawings    • Assisting  Cost  &  Planning  team  with  material  quantities  cross-­‐check    • Conscientious  of  HSE  of  all  personnel  and  properties      • Ensure  that  company's  HSE  procedures  practices  are  strictly  adhered  to    • Inspection  of  reinforcement  according  to  Design  Drawing  and  BBS  in  various  structures  including  Weir,  Intake,  

Slabs  (upto  2  meters),  Spillway,  Pavement,  Girders    • Inspection  of  Pre-­‐tensioning  of  Girders    • Inspection  of  Post-­‐tensioning  of  Tendons    • Overseeing  Impounding  activity  through  1st  Stage  till  last  stage    • Concrete  Plugging  activities  inside  diversion  tunnel  impounding    • Pre-­‐Tensioning  of  Bridge  Girders  in  Method  Statement  of  Work    • Post-­‐tensioning  work’s  method  Statement  and  Final  report  of  completion  addressing  issues  and  remedies
