In light of current and future social distancing recommendations, the events team at Riddle’s Court has taken some time to look at the possible impact on room layouts and

capacities.

If you’re considering a smaller ceremony or private dining experience whilst social distancing measures are likely to still be in place, in conjunction with health and safety recommendations, catering guidelines and livestreaming options, your guest numbers

and room layouts will need to be given due consideration.

SmallCelebrations

Two MetresShould two meter social distancing

continue to be a requirement over the coming months, a total of 10 guests can be accommodated within our

first floor for a ceremony livestreamed between the two rooms. In this

instance, the couple will be married in the Seton room by their celebrant with two witnesses, with the other 6 guests seated in the Geddes Room

next door.

For a ceremony in the Library Room adhering to two metre social

distancing recommendations, up to 14 guests (including the

couple) and their celebrant can be accommodated.

Two Metres

If you would like to combine your ceremony on the first floor with a

private meal in the Library Room, up to 10 guests can be accommodated.

Up to 23 guests (including the couple) and their celebrant can be

accommodated on the first floor. The ceremony can be livestreamed between the two adjoining rooms.

One Metre

For a ceremony in the Library Room, up to 28 guests (including the

couple) and their celebrant can be accommodated.

In the event that social distancing moves to 1 metre...

For a wedding breakfast adhering to one metre social distancing, up to 14 guests for a family-style banquet

set-up can be accommodated.

One Metre

Alternatively , up to 26 guests can be accommodated with a slightly

different banquet-style set up.
