After a courageous battle withcancer, on Wednesday, February 11,2009 at North Bay General Hospital.Alma (nee McConnell) was prede-ceased by her husband MelvinCharles Grasser (1939-2008).

She was the beloved mother ofTracy Carr (Tim) of North Bay, TedGrasser of Georgetown, Terri Rich(Dean) of Cambridge and TrevorGrasser (Kim) of Mississauga;Grandfather of Holly (Jason),Brittany, Taylor, Cody, Zachary,Hunter and great-grandson Brandon.

Alma was the dear sister of EthelBeatty (the late John) of North Bayand Madeline Jones (Ralph), EugeneMcConnell (Helen), Betty Osborne(Harvey) and Sharon Grasser(Elwood), all of Trout Creek.

She was predeceased by her infantdaughter Maryanne, her brotherSylvester McConnell (the late Mae)and by her parents Dora (Pilger) andEphriam McConnell.

Alma is survived by her sisters-in-law Marlene Busch (Evan), RhondaMullin (David), Joy Ann Eckensviller(Glen) and her brother-in-law, JohnLingenfelter (the late Lorraine), all ofTrout Creek.

Cremation has taken place.The family will receive visitors

at the Grasser family home, on273 Hummel Line, Trout Creek from1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May23, 2009.

A celebration of Alma’s life willfollow on the lawns of her home at3:00 p.m. Interment of ashes to followat Sacred Heart Cemetery.
