ELT/819, ELINT Component of the SIGINT System, is based on a multi-channel Digital Receiver and is the latest generation ofElettronica systems for ELINT and Surveillance tasks, that can provide users with an effective intelligence support by exploitingits unique features.
• RF coverage: from C band to J band. As an option the coverage can be extended down to A band and up to K band• High sensitivity• Wide instantaneous IF bandwidth (several GHz)• High Probability Of Intercept (POI)• High capability to operate in dense, complex and a-priori unknown e.m. scenarios• Capability to operate either as an integrated SIGINT element or as a “stand-alone” Passive Sensor• E.O.B. creation / updating and presentation on digital maps• Monitoring of e.m. scenario evolution• Very accurate monopulse DOA measurements based on the Time Difference Of Arrival (TDOA) technique• Very accurate automatic and computer-aided analysis both at Interpulse and Intrapulse level• Fine data analysis• Digital recording of all the acquired data (PDMs and Intrapulse analysis data)• Automatic extraction of a very wide range of radar type by exploiting:
- Frequency: Fixed, Agile, Hopping, Hopping/Burst - PRI: Fixed, Jittered, CW, Staggered, Coded, Complex/Coded, Sliding, Stepping, Switching, Complex- PW: CW, No modulation, Phase Modulation, Frequency Modulation, Chirp, Barker- ARP: Circular, Sectorial, TWS, Conical, Steady, Unknown
MAIN FEATURES
ELT/819AIRBORNE ELINT SYSTEMS FOR SIGINT APPLICATIONS
EMB-145 ATR-72
• Automatic identification and classification of emissions• Real-time analysis of multiple emissions• Fast Emitter Location based on digital measurements in time/frequency domains of the main emitter parameters, or through
subsequent DOA acquisitions (this for the optional Low Band extension)• Powerful automatic BITE• Accurate Finger Printing Procedures• Adaptive (time and frequency) blanking• Capability to be connected (through the on board communication facilities) to a ground high command centre for sending
information and receiving high priority tasks• Capability to be connected to a Mission Supervisor (for supervising and fusing the COMINT and ELINT tracks)• User-friendly, Human-Machine Interface• Mission planning (i.e., selecting geographic areas, selecting Targets of interest, preparing emission lists for surveillance, selecting
frequency ranges, etc) may be performed either on ground (briefing), or directly on board by means of the SW tools embeddedin the System
• Grow-up capability by increasing the number of Operator Workposts• High recording capability (PDMs, Pre-detected digitised signal)• Computer-aided upgrading of the historical database• Historical and Current EOB presentation on digital Maps
