How to safely handle linen in Hospitals, clean rooms, pharmaceutical and nuclear industries ? There are many potential sources of microbiological contamination in hospitals, nursing homes, correctional facilities as bacteria are easily spread unless strict controls are in place.Optimal sanitation is ensured by a dual door design separated by a sanitized partition. Disinfected laundry never comes in contact with soiled contaminated laundry.Today the R.A.B.C. (Risk Analysis and Biocontamination Control) standard brings the only logical solution to an efficient separation of clean and soiled linen. This standard avoids the risk of recontamination or cross contamination. Since 1984 it has been recognized that DANUBE barrier washers reduce the risk of spreading nosocomial infections (hospital acquired infections) during laundering. With DANUBE barrier washers designed with a durability factor in mind, you will get an ergonomic heavy duty machine requiring little maintenance. You will get excellent mechanical action and maximum flexibility (thanks to our control). Water consumption (and energy consumption to heat the water) will be low because of the small space between the inner and outer drum.
