supply for various OEM Customers. Based in California,

Division Lavatory of Safran Cabin supplies product for

Airbus A220, A320, A330neo and A350XWB, Boeing P8

Poseidon, Bombardier CRJ Series, De-Havilland Q400,

Embraer E-Jets, Mitsubishi Spacejets, Irkut MC-21 and

COMAC C919 aircrafts. We also supply lavatories on a

retrofit basis to dozens of Airline customers on various

Airbus and Boeing fleet.

DESIGN & CONCEPTS

Our Safran Cabin Design and Innovation Studio is a unique Design Center, purpose built for inspiration, collaboration and fast, effective product development. We collaborate in designing lavatory solutions for various missions, such as Premium Lavs, Smart Lavs and Lavs-Galley Aft Complex.

LAVATORY EXPERTISE

Our A350XWB lavatory is a successful design collaboration between Airbus and Safran Cabinin California. The oversized wall-to-wall mirror module provides a welcoming open space feeling, complimentedby RGB mood lighting. The lavatory offers vast featuresand options, including LED-lit mirror modules, amenity towers, cabinet and drawer modules, as well faucets and waste flaps with both mechanical and touchless features. Over 2500 lavatories are currently incommercial service.

Our Aft Complex lavatory on the A220 is another collaboration with Airbus, inspired by the success of the A320 Space-Flex v2 product. It enables cabin densification for the A220 aircraft, offering unparalleled ROI for the Operators. The Aft Complex lavatory design provides access to Persons with Reduced Mobility on the A220.

Safran Cabin has developed cost-effective solutions in refreshing existing lavatory with modules that can be selected a-la-carte, including:

A drop-in sink bowl kit is installed on existing counter without any removal, improving the sink appearance and durability with minimal installation effort.

Various colors and finishes are available for the lavatory refresh kits.

SELECTIVE UPGRADE New Modules on Existing Lavatories

INNOVATION

Bifold doors are considered to be the most unreliable, and expensive part to maintain in the lavatory. We designed a door that is simple, ergonomic and easy for maintenance. The patented one-piece “Living Hinge” replaces the unreliable torsion springs hinge design commonly used in today’s bifold doors. All critical components can be exchanged in under one minute for simple maintenance with simple tools.
