Career Summary Site Manager Site Manager Volta-Project Jan 2016 - Mar 2016 I have run site from inception to completion of a Solar Energy Farm. Setting up site and the compound. I am responsible for all Health and Safety on site. Liasing with Spanish civil works in preperation of area to carry out piling of steel struce frame. Liased with spanish and german delivery companies for delivery of steel structure, solar panels, transformer, invertor, comms buildings. Dealt with Spanish electrical company and UK Power Network to liven up site for completion date of 9th March 2016. Temporary Position where I as in charge of setting up site which consisted of housing and social housing.

Overseeing the demolition of the existing building to be replaced with Social Housing Units consisting of 9 x 3

bed Houses, 4 x 2 bed Houses, 2 x 2 bed Maisonettes and 4 x 1 bed Flats Timber Frame properties. I

At Bloor I ran my own site and team. I have experience in Timber Frame and RC construction. Here I

have gained experience in; calling off materials, weekly project meetings with sub-contractors, monthly

build project meeting, sub-contractors payments, NHBC Key Stage Inspections to CML and the Health

and Safety on site. I was in charge with running the upkeep of Daily Diary which included; issuing of hot

work permits, site inductions, daily scaffold check, tool box talks, working to build programme and dates.

Reasons for leaving:

Assistant Site Manager at Country and Metropolitan Homes, East Sussex March 2011 - December 2011 A £25mil project building 172 Timber Frame Houses and 2 Blocks of Flats and 23 Commercial Units from foundations to completion, running site and reporting to the Site Manager, holding meetings with the sub-contractor and building to programme. I was doing key stage NHBC inspections to completions then

Customer Care. Organising trade and setting them up for the day with a build programme. I was responsible for the Health and Safety of over 100 operatives over a course of the day.

From July to March 2011 In July 2008 I became a full time single father to my young son. I was able to return to work March 2011 as my son could then be in full time school.

Site Manager at Michael Shanly Homes, Leatherhead Surrey June 2007 - July 2008 I ran 2 sites building bespoke homes, reporting to the Contracts Manager and Build Director. The main

managerial responsibilities for the project included; site personnel management, health & safety and

payments. Maintaining Health & Safety ensuring operatives and subcontractors operate according to risk

and method statements. Accountable for around 30 operatives on a daily basis and making sure the build

programme was met. Reasons for leaving: I was made redundant in July 2008 due to the economic downturn.

Private Developer 2002 – 2007 Build Forman I lived in Spain for 5yrs and worked for a private developer from The Isle of Wight renovating old Cortijo’s (Farm Houses). I ran the labour and also dealt with local merchants for deliveries of materials.
