Baby Steps

I was born on March 7th, 1986My parents called me the Miracle Baby

because when my mom was 5 months pregnant with me, she had an appendectomy. This was a very unusual surgery because it was never performed on a pregnant women at that hospital.

I am the youngest in my family I have one older brother who’s name is AdamThere are a total of four people in my family

Growing UpMy first word was my brother’s name, however I couldn’t say Adam. Instead I said ayaa. My first nickname when I was little was Wild Women, because I always daring and didn’t hold back on trying new things.

Ever since I was a new born I have been an excellent sleeper. My mom would have to tickle my feet in order to wake me up for a feeding.

These three girls I consider my sisters. I have known them since I was in kindergarten and both of our families are extremely close with one other. Unfortunately they moved to Seattle, Washington six years ago, however, we still remain very close. Their names are Loa, Soley and Helga.

Sports

I’ve been dancing since the age of two.I did gymnastics for eight years. When I was little I was in a British

soccer camp for two years. My mom tells me that I had a crush on my coach and it was because of his accent.

I also did Girl Scouts for four years.

High School YearsHigh School Years

♣I went to Lincoln-Way East High School. There were 735 students in my graduating class

♣I was on the Dance team all four years

♣I was a Senior Mentor which is someone who helps out the incoming freshmen during study hall and special events.

Accomplishments for Dance

I was on the Varsity dance team for three years, only two other girls have been able to do with me

I was Captain of my dance team senior yearI was MVP on the dance team my senior yearI was a UDA All-star dancer for two years in a

rowI won a choreography award at the Joel Hall

Dance Convention when I was 13 years old.

This is a picture of my best friends Corie and Stephanie. I have known them for 14 years thru dance. Even though we go to different colleges we still mange to find time to visit each other.

Accomplishments for gymnastics

• I won various awards for tumbling and also gymnastics.

• I was in the Junior Olympics for intermediate tumbling and I placed 10th out of 42 girls.
