This is common of the folk genre as the music is more important than the celebrity icon side of the music industry, unlike mainstream pop. The target audience of young adults and teenage festival goers are reflected through this because they are young, creative and are using new art forms and media to express themselves and change the world around them. Many Digipak’s within the folk and rock genre keep to a few colours rather than a pop art, rainbow style of some mainstream artists.
