Laudato Si and the Torch of False Prophecy

1. We are warned about Satan appearing as an angel of light to us (2Cor

11:13-15).

a. The torch of false prophecy are held by many within the sphere of

Adventism.

“Many will stand in our pulpits with the torch of false prophecy in their

hands, kindled from the hellish torch of Satan.” Ellen G. White,

Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, pp 409-410.

b. Today, a line of false prophecy that claims that it is climate change that

will lead to a Sunday Law to save the planet, according to the Pope’s

document Laudato Si, is being advocated within Adventism, especially

within the “independent ministries.”

c. This is highly deceptive and is made up of three totally unrelated parts.

(i) There is no connection between the Bill H.R.Q. (It is not a Sunday Law Bill).

(ii) No connection to Charles Comosy’s pro-papal article about a Sunday Rest.

(iii) No connection to the Pope’s Laudato Si Sunday Rest.

(iv) There is no proof of a coming Sunday Law related to climate change issues.

2. Another zealous advocate of a Sunday Law based on dealing with climate

change is a preacher named Andrew Henriques. His article co-written with

his wife is entitled “Laudate Si Generation, Roman Catholic Church Admits:

Last Generation ‘Marked’ by Laudate Si, July 30, 2019.”

Cardinal Peter Turkson, head of the Vatican-based Dicastery for Promoting

Integral Human Development said, “There are so many signs of hope; God

is raising up people around the world to come together to care for our

common home. I am happy to note that role of young people in this

journey.”

Most significant and prophetic however are the following words of Turkson.

“I am very pleased by the emergence of the Laudato Si Generation, an

international network of Catholic youth organizations striving to live

Laudato Si.” He added that, “It is such a fitting name, as you are the

generation that will be remembered for being marked by Laudato Si and

most importantly you are the generation that will be remembered for

helping the church implement Laudato Si to be more prophetic and

coherent in her vocation to care for our common home.”

This should bring our minds to Revelation 13:11-17 concerning the Mark of

the Beast. Before we dive into the prophecy, let us emphasize key phrases

from the above quoted statement.

a. “You are the generation that will be remembered for being ‘marked by

Laudato Si’.”

b. “You are the generation that will be remembered for helping the church

to implement Laudato Si to be more prophetic.”

These two statements sum up Satan’s end time stratagem as laid out in

Revelation 13. As a reminder, one of the solutions, the primary solution,

set forth in Laudato Si to address climate change, is a legally mandated

Sunday rest (see section 237 in Laudato Si).

4. We are living in a little time of trouble when the servants of God are being

sealed in their minds. Four angels are holding back the winds of strife from

fully blowing upon the earth until the time when the seven last plagues

shall fall (Rev 7:1-3; Rev 12:17; Rev 14:12).

“The commencement of that time of trouble,” here mentioned, does not

refer to the time when the plagues shall begin to be poured out, but to a

short period just before they are poured out while Christ is in the

Sanctuary. At that time while the work of salvation is closing, trouble will

be coming on the earth, and the nations will be angry, yet held in check so

as not to prevent the work of the third angel. At that time the “latter rain”

or refreshing form the presence of the Lord, will come, to give power to the

loud voice of the third angel and prepare the saints to stand in the period

when the seven last plagues shall be poured out.” Ellen G White, Early

5. This little time of trouble Jesus presents as signs of His second coming

while we are to prepare (Luk 21:25-31, 34-36).

“John sees the elements of nature – earthquakes, tempest and political

strife – represented as being held by four angels. These winds are under

control until God gives the word to let them go. There is the safety of

God’s church. The angels of God do His bidding, holding back the winds of

the earth, that the winds should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor

on any tree, until the servants of God should be sealed in their foreheads.”

6. But when the judgment is completed at the standing up of Michael, then

starts the time of trouble with the upheavals of nature. They are the seven

final plagues (Dan 12:1; Job 38:22, 23; Isa 34:8; Rev 16:1, 2, 14, 21).

7. By the time the plagues are falling, it is not global warming or climate

change are attributed to the upheavals of nature. The Saints will be blamed

for the upheavals in nature. Their refusal to keep Sunday is blamed.

“I saw that the four angels would hold the four winds until Jesus’ work was

done in the sanctuary and then will come the seven last plagues. These

plagues enraged the wicked against the righteous; they thought that we

had brought the judgments of God upon them, and that if they could rid

the earth of us, the plagues would be stayed.” Ellen G. White, Early

8. But even before the plagues begin to fall with all the horrible natural

upheavals. When the little time of trouble exists, and the saints gave the

final warning to the earth. The horrible natural disasters that will then

occur would still be blamed upon the saints. The judgments of God falling

upon the earth, would be blamed upon them. These charges will continue

even more to the time of trouble of the seven last plagues, until a death

decree for a purging is placed upon the Saints.

and order, as breaking down the moral restraints of society, causing

anarchy and corruption and calling down the judgments of God upon the

“As the angels of God cease to hold in check the fierce winds of human

passion, all the elements of strife will be let loose. The whole world will be

involved in ruin more terrible than that which came upon Jerusalem of

old… Those who honor the Law of God have been accused of bringing

judgments upon the world, and they will be regarded as the cause of the

fearful convulsions of nature and the strife and bloodshed among men that

are filling the earth with woe.” Ibid p 614

9. The impending conflict is not about climate change leading to a global

shows that the enforcement of Sunday was not about global warming, but

about global conversion to form a form of godliness. (Rev 16:13, 14).

institutions of the church, their work will be accepted as a manifestation of

divine power….. Papists, who boast of miracles as a certain sign of the true

church, will be readily deceived by this wonder working power; and

Protestants, having cast away the shield of truth, will also be deluded.

Papists, Protestants and worldlings will alike accept the form of godliness

without the power and they will see in this union a grand movement for the

conversion of the world and the ushering in of the long expected

“The miracle working power manifested through spiritualism will exerts its

influence against those who choose to obey God rather than men.

Communications from the spirits will declare that God has sent them to

convince the rejecters of Sunday of their error, affirming that the laws of

15. It is this system of legislating the dogmas of Apostate Protestantism while

Commuligion), that will cause the worship of the beast (Papal

Commuligion) and his image (Protestant Commuligion) and the reception of
