LEGMA established on 1 January 2005 by reorganization of 3 institutions:• Latvian Hydrometeorological Agency• Latvian Environment Agency• State Geological Survey

Development of Shared Environment Information System in Latvia compatible with the main state registers and international data sets to provide relevant and reliable information to policy-makers and general public on national and international level to improve the quality of life
