Seton Health’s Incontinence & Wound Services and Diabe-tes Education encourage anyone with the following symptoms to attend the free screening: A loss of sensation, pain or tingling in their feet; chronic or recurring open wounds or sores; redness or pressure in lower extremities; diffi culty when wearing shoes; loss of balance when walking. YWCA Receives $5,000 DonationTROY – SEFCU has designated $5,000 to the YWCA of the Greater Capital Region, Inc. The gift was recently presented to YWCA Executive Director Sherry Rounds at the YWCA, 21 First Street Troy. The gift will go towards stocking the Food Pantry that serves not only YWCA residents but also the community at large. The Food Pantry provides a 3-day emergency package of food. The gift is part of a movement by SEFCU to help stock lo-cal food pantries and organizations helping those struggling with the most basic needs such as food. They have already committed to donating over $200,000. In order to meet the requirements of the YWCA’s Food Pantry, please bring a valid drivers license or photo identifi cation card and Social Security cards or birth cer-tifi cates for everyone in the family. Attention High School Age Hockey PlayersTROY – The Troy Albany Junior River Rats midget youth hockey team is looking for additional players, including a goaltender, to fi ll its roster. Players must be birth year 1993 to 1996 to be eligible and cannot be currently rostered on a varsity high school or preparatory school team. The Junior River Rats are part of the Troy Albany Youth Hockey Association and play in the com-petitive Northeast Midget Hockey League, as well as selected tournaments in the northeast. The team practices on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8:50pm at the Knickerbacker Ice Rink and Frear Park and play games primarily on Saturdays and Sundays thru mid-March.
