Some of you know how much I love the words of the DOXOLOGY. Some of you know I shared these words for 63 straight days from my front porch during this coronavirus pandemic. Some of you have been singing these words longer than I have been alive. Some of you grew up in churches where these words were sung every Sunday morning. And some of you may not have sung these words as often as others. However, do not let ever the rocks cry out for you (Luke 19:37-40). Give God and God alone all the PRAISE, honor, and glory due to Him. Do not take the privilege to PRAISE Him lightly. Do not ever offer this opportunity of PRAISE casually. Do not neglect this responsibility to give personal PRAISE to the Trinity thoughtlessly. And remember, one day all believers will be around the throne of God to PRAISE HIM as FATHER, SON, AND HOLY GHOST . . . forever! KEEP PRAISING GOD! “DOXOLOGY”

BAPTIST HYMNAL - #668

“Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him, above ye heavenly host;

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.”

Our PRAISE of God must be real. Our PRAISE of God must be genuine. Our PRAISE of God must be daily. Our PRAISE of God must be intentional. Our PRAISE of God must be both individual and corporate. Our PRAISE of God must be to . . . God the FATHER, God the SON, and God the HOLY SPIRIT. And remember, one day all believers will be around the throne of God to PRAISE HIM as FATHER, SON, AND HOLY GHOST . . . forever!

Each week, our staff is emailing out At-Home Family Worship

Guides that go through Scripture. This is a great way to study, learn, praise, and worship together as family at home! Try

it out and let us know what you think! If you haven’t received one by email, please let us know!

Welcome Back First Baptist Family!

Welcome!

Dear Church Family, Here are 10 things to consider as we gather back in the Sanctuary this Sunday, June 21: 1. As in previous Sundays, we will have 2 very similar Worship Services at 8:30 AM and at 10:30 AM. 2. We are asking you to SIGN UP AGAIN for your preference of which Worship Service to attend so we can be adequately prepared. 3. You can certainly choose to continue coming at the same time you have the last few weeks, but PLEASE LET US KNOW. 4. You may do so by calling the church office at 601-683-2066. 5. The Sanctuary has been thoroughly cleaned this week and will be cleaned/sanitized between the 8:30 AM Worship and the 10:30 AM Worship. 6. Follow the instructions of the Greeters/Ushers and sit near the door you enter instead of walking through the Sanctuary. Families, please continue sitting together. 7. Offering Plates will be located at all entrances to our Sanctuary for your tithes and offerings. 8. We will continue practicing social-distancing, as well as providing masks and hand sanitizer. Bathrooms will be available only for emergency. 9. Please refer to the CDC recommendations and do not put yourself or others at risk. If you are not yet comfortable in coming "in-person", we certainly understand! 10. You can continue participating in Worship online via our Facebook page on Mondays.
