Pumpkin Patch - Sign Up to Help! The volunteer binder is out in the hallway. Sign up for one or more two hour time slot as a small group or as an individual to work the patch.

Searching for Pumpkin Patch Leadership We need two people to help with running the pumpkin patch. These positions will help make the patch run smoothly for volunteers and guest. Thank you again for your generous giving! The Voices of Faith used the new SJA van to travel to Cedar Bluff Senior Living Center on September 14
th. They sang 2 concerts - 1 for the
general residents and 1 for the memory care unit residents. Everyone, including the choir, was richly blessed by wonderful anthems and sing-a-long hymns. We experienced God's awesome power when the residents suffering memory trouble sang every word of the classic hymns with us. We hope to provide this ministry again soon!

A portion of our offerings go toward international, national and regional missions and are known as apportionments. SJA is supporting “Give Ye Them to Eat.” According to the GYTTE website: GYTTE was founded in 1977 as a social outreach project of the Methodist Church of Mexico to combat hunger and poverty in the rural sector. Pumpkin Patch Set Up Saturday, Sept. 29, 9 AM - Noon Help get the pumpkin patch ready for the first pumpkin delivery of the season. No sign ups are required - just bring your gloves and yourselves.
Pumpkin Patch T-Shirts For the next two Sundays: Sept. 22 & 29, T-shirts will be available for purchase in the hallway. (Same design, different color.)

To Our SJA Family, Thank you so much for everyone’s prayer and participation in last Sunday’s Day of Service as you poured out your hard work and sweat (and sweat and sweat and sweat) to complete our community’s projects. We were touched by everyone’s generosity of their time, muscle and determination to complete the jobs well done. Galatians 6:10 states: “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers”. It was a moving time to visit several of the projects and see SJA people working together as Christ’s body, and then to share the completion of the tasks with each other and those who we had assisted. We’re in awe of the prospects of the effects that SJA can have on our community for we are a church with very big hearts; and we’re looking forward for more opportunities to spread our love. Blessings, Missions and Outreach.

Meals to be Shipped to the Bahamas, Donated by Kids Against Hunger of Tarrant County 40,000 KAH meals are being flown over to the Bahamas along with 5 gallon buckets and hygiene kits.
