Post Investment Group Sells Former Broadway Square Apts. Near Hobby Airport

In the largest multifamily transaction in Houston year-to-date, Post Investment Group sold the 2,470-unit community formerly known as Broadway Square Apts. last month to a group of investors led byChicago-based parking developer Jesse Levine for an undisclosed amount.

Now known as Vista Verde and Alta Verde Apts., the massive 1.82 million-square-foot multifamilycomplex is located at 8751 Broadway St. near the Hobby Airport in Houston's Greater Hobby AreaMultifamily submarket

Built in 1979 on 69 acres, the community is comprised of 182 two- and three- story buildings housing22 one- and two-bedroom floorplans with on-site amenities that include 11 swimming pools, 32courtyards and 28 laundry facilities.

Matt Saunders, Russell Jones and Zach Springer of ARA A Newmark Co. represented the seller,while Jeffrey Fript of Marcus Millichap represented the buyer.
