What are large porcelain slabs?

COMPOSITION

WATER FIRECLAY

Natural Stone – Marble and granite.• Uniqueness• Added value

Quartz – Early 60’s – Polymer resins pressed together with natural, raw quartz crystals.• Easier to fabricate• Technically superior than natural stone

Solid Surface – 1967 – Combination of alumina trihydrate, acrylic, epoxy or polyester resins and pigments• Seamless• It can thermoformed. Any shape is possible.

Large format porcelain – 2012 – Clays and other inorganic minerals.

History of the large format industry

HYGIENIC AND ANTIBACTERIAL

Ideal for direct contact with food, it does not release volatile organic compounds (VOC), and also prevents the proliferation of fungi and bacteria.

SCRATCH AND IMPACT RESISTANT

Extremely resistant to scratching with cutting utensils when taking minimum precautions. Capable of absorbing the energy from impacts and loads, maintaining its integrity.
