Dear Gary,

It is raining here today in ithaca when I am going out to take some photos for my project.I thought of you, thought about how much you love the rainy days!

I would like to have a coffee with you again, sometime, somewhere, in a rainy day like this, sitting next to a window of a cosy cafe, watch-ing the rain drops paint the things we see, and talk about the dream we ever had.

Dear Mum:

How are you? Miss you.

I am here in a neighborhood Park in Ithaca. It is beautiful with a big waterfall just located right beside the house I rent. It is so soothing and relax of spend-ing an afternoon here. I am so regret not bringing my paints and brushes here..well..even though I have not been doing that for a well. Still, enjoy the time and want you to be here too, but I can you would probably fall a sleep in such a quiet place :P

Hello myself:

How long have you not been in a field taking a photo like this? How long have you not paid attention to the beau-tiful things around you? and How long have you not put on your smile each day, each time?

Have been reading news about the poor and needy, watching cars to drive over a 8 years’ old life without breaking, people rob others’ for their own gain and desire. Girls have been taught to marry Mr. Rich instead of Mr. Right. What happen to this world?

Too much for one to digest! I ‘d rather pick up a small dandelion, blow off the seeds, then close my eyes and fly my spirit with the wind. 16

Acknowledgement

It has been a very rewarding semester. Not only my design skill got improved, but also my abilities, ability to discover art in our daily life, ability to interpret my inspiration by words and graphic, ability to persist under pressure, ability to stay cheerful and patient. However, I cannot be at this point today without the inspiration and encouragements from my dear Professor Paula Horrigan and our excellent TARita Kwong.I appreciate the time you dedicated to us in class and out of the school hours; thank you for walking us through the journey! I will press on and stay in the spirit!!
