THE MUSEUM´S ROYAL MUMMY ROOMS
EGYPT MUSEUM-CAIRO
Is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian Antiquities.It has 120,000 items, with a representative amount on display, the
remainder in storerooms.
HISTORY
The Egyptian museum of Antiquities contains many important pieces of ancient Egyptian History.
It houses the World´s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquites, and many treasures on King Tutankhamen.
THE EGYPTIAN GOVERNMENT MUSEUM
1835: the ezbekeyah garden
1858: the museum soon moved to boulaq
1855: shortly after the artifacts were moved, Duke Maximilian of austalia (all artifacts)
The new building was to be construct ed on the bank of the Nile River in Boulaq.
1978: the antiquities was relocated to another museum in giza
1902: the antiquities remained for the last time to the current museum in TAHRIR SQUARE.

There is an extensive collection of papyrus and coins used in the Ancient world.
Several languages (greek, Latin, Arabe)
Artifacts from the Kingdom.(statues, tables and coffins)
There are artifacts from the final two dynasties of Ancient Egypt including tombs of the Pharaohs Thutmosis IIIThutmosis IVAmenophis IIHatshepsutMaherpenArtifacta from the Valley of the Kings
KING TUTANKHAMUNUnlike many of the tombs discovered in Egypt, was ok King Tutankhamun was found mostly intact.
Inside the tombs there was a large collection.
The tombs was also home to many weapons and instruments used by the king.
The tomb held over 3, 500 artifacts
The most well know artifact in King Tutankhamun´s tomb is the famous gold Mask, wich rested over the bandages that wrapped
around the king´s face.
PHARAOHSThe remains of many famous Pharaohs are stored in the egyptian
museum.
RAMSES III: Extremely skilled warrior
AMENHOTEP IV: he reined 1372 B.C (principal wife Queen)
KING SNEFERU: He built many temples and structures taht had a signature-status
QUEEN HATSHEPSUT: Newly discovered mummy.
