Definition of computer:

The word computer comes from Latin computare which means to

calcite so normally computer can be consider as calculation device that

can perform calculation at enormous speed.

Computer can be defining auto matics mechine which takes input from

user process it store it neassary and give output in desired from.

Characteristics of computer:

Speed: The

speed of computer is very fast which can in a few second. The amount

of work that a human being can do in an entire year can be done by

computer in no time. The speed of computer is measure in fraction of

second speed of computer always l

Word Length:

The word length or size refers to the number of bites that CPU can

manipulate at one time. It is based another size of rejecter in the CPU

and the number of data lines in the data bus.

Automatic:

Everything given to computer is process and done by computer.

According and given data that computer works itself without interaction

of users. As job is started in carries out until the job finished which

makes computer Automatic.

Versatility:

A computer can perform more than one work having different

character. Such character is known as versatility. Computer is capable of

performing almost all tasks at the same time. These devices used in

different application area such as education, business, hospital etc.

grumbling due to this property computer is able to perform the work

Computer cant do simple work if its not given input of data &

Computersystem:

The design Arrangement construction or organization different parts of

a computer system are known as computer archicture.

The physical arrangement of the computer associate

together for the world is known is as computer system a computer is

divided in two following element.

Hardware:

Hardware is a physical part of the computer which is contained and

tangible is known as hardware monitor, mouse, ram and keyboard.

Software :

Software are the terms use to descried that is truncation that tell the

hard ware what and how to perform a task software nontangible e.g.

MS office tall etc.

Data and information:

Data can be considers as the raw facts that does not provide sensible

meaning whereas information are manly plate data at provide sensiblemeaning.

Input:

Input unit reads the data and instruction from the user convert

them in too computer understandable form into the processing

unit. Input unit links external Enverment with the computer

system keyboard mouse light pen are the example.

Output:

Output supply the information obtains and result of data from

the outside of the world in takes the information and result

from the processing unit and present into the user understand

able from monitor printer speaker etc.

Processing unit:

CPU build in single chips is known as processing unit.it is also

known as CPU and is mounted in mother board processing unit

has two sub unit.

2) Secondary memory:

This memory also known as auxiliary storage or backup storage.

These memory storage result data and information permantly

and for feature extended so, are non-volatile in neuter before

reading the data and result should be loded in primary memory

first e.g. hard disk cd,dvd flash drive etc.

Microprocessor:

A CPU build single chip is known as microprocessor. A

microprocessor is an electronic device which in interface with

memory and several device microprocessor can be consider as

brain of computer because it devices every things to the

computer for the result it also doesnt the brain of human that itcontrols stores and process with different unit like register array

each other.
