WALTER B. JONES Lakeside Psychiatric Hospital

Walter B. Jones Lakeside Psychiatric Hospital provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults from Eastern North Carolina. All individuals admitted have an active psychiatric diagnosis, requiring inpatient treatment or they are under an involuntary mental health/substance use commitment.

All clinical services are psychiatrically supervised. Individuals receiving services may have high psychiatric acuity requiring verbal and/or physical interventions by any member of the clinical team.

Individuals admitted to Walter B. Jones Lakeside Psychiatric Hospital require more intensive psychiatric services than available through community outpatient or intensive outpatient program providers. The facility is certified by CMS.

Walter B. Jones Woodside Treatment Center provides crisis detoxification and stabilization services for adults in Eastern North Carolina. The Center has inpatient treatment services to address the needs of those presenting with substance use specific and/or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

Perinatal services are also available for women needing inpatient substance use and/or mental health treatment from all 100 NC counties. Women are accepted in all stages of their pregnancies.
